This sun-dial was presented to the Halifax Public Gardens by the Halifax-Dartmouth Beta Sigma Phi in commemoration of the 100th birthdays of Canada and the Public Gardens on June 21, 1967. As far as I can tell though, it never seems to tell the right time.
